Television’s #1 daytime host, Dr. Phil, for the first time ever, featured not one but two chiropractors on an upcoming Dr. Phil Show on Thursday March 14, 2012. And Dr. Phil didn’t just host a show with a chiropractor, he openly endorsed chiropractic for lifetime wellness care, not back pain which wasn’t even mentioned.
Dr. Phil shared that chiropractic has helped him and his wife mentally, physically and spiritually.
Dr. Fabrizio Mancini was Dr. Phil’s guest and was asked to explain the principles of chiropractic. He spoke about chiropractic being a natural, holistic way to keep overall wellbeing. Dr. Patrick DeFazio was in the audience and spoke for a few minutes about what a chiropractor does.
Dr. Fab was Dr. Phil’s chiropractor in Texas for 4 years prior to taking over the position of President at Parker University. When Dr. Phil moved to Beverly Hills, Dr. Fab recommended he continue his chiropractic care with Parker University graduate Dr. Patrick DeFazio who Dr. Phil has now been going to twice a week for 10 years.
Dr. Fab was provided with the opportunity to join Dr. Phil due to the popularity of his new book “The Power of Self-Healing” which is quickly gaining attention as more and more television shows and media outlets pick up on Dr. Fab’s new book.
At a recent event in California, Dr. Fab shared that Oprah Winfrey has just recently requested a copy of his book. He is also slated to be a guest on another popular daytime show.
In talking to Dr. Fab, he mentioned that Dr. Phil was excited to share his understanding and appreciation for regular chiropractic check-ups and care.
Dr. Fabrizio Mancini said “I feel blessed to be part of a profession that I am so passionate about and am thankful I discovered chiropractic when I did. What most people don’t know is that I was studying to become a neurosurgeon and was in my final stages of premed when I was involved in a severe car accident. The orthopedic doctor at the hospital referred me to his chiropractor to address my injuries. Within six weeks of care I felt better than ever before—physically, mentally, and spiritually. I was so impressed with what happened that I wanted to share my experience with everyone I came in contact with. That’s when it occurred to me I wanted to become a doctor of chiropractic. I interviewed more than sixty doctors of chiropractic and came away from each meeting convinced my life purpose was to help others fulfill their innate healing potential by choosing chiropractic as a career. It has been the best decision I could have possibly made professionally and personally—one that has led me to a healthy body, mind, and spirit today.
